Stephen P. Mussart, MBA, CPA is a trusted Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years of experience in Corporate Finance. His career covers Canadian and International Corporate and Commercial Banking, Risk Management and Public Accounting services.
Stephen is passionate about applying his extensive knowledge base of corporate finance, risk management, accounting, audit, and tax to add value, solve complex business problems and develop business strategy. This knowledge has allowed him to make sound decisions and advise on CFO for Hire engagements, corporate finance consulting, M&A, valuation, tax, and operational efficiencies.
In addition to his CPA designation, he is an MBA graduate of the Rotman School, University of Toronto and holds a BA in Economics from King’s University College, Western University. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and Ontario and was a course lecturer/facilitator for CPA Ontario preparatory courses in Financial Reporting and Corporate Finance.
Since obtaining his CPA, Stephen has continued his education in corporate tax (CPA Ontario) and corporate law. He recently completed the “Intensive Short Course in Secured Lending and Debt Finance”, offered by Osgoode Hall Law School, York University.
A Toronto native, he resides in Ajax, Ontario and enjoys spending time with his kids, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Argos as well as listening to 70’s and 80’s music. He is described as having a positive attitude, intelligent, hard-working, having a good sense of humor, an active listener, effective communicator, and proudly Canadian.
